Birth Planning Services
A hospital birth plan is only as strong as the people standing behind it. We go deeper than a checklist: we learn your history, help you name what matters most, and prepare you and your support people to speak up for it clearly and calmly when the moment comes. This is advocacy built around your family, not a form you fill out and hope someone reads.
Experience you can lean on
This isn’t advocacy learned from a textbook. Abby has given birth in the hospital system herself, over multiple years, and has worked inside it for multiple years too. She knows how labor and delivery floors really run, from the inside and from the bed.
As a midwife and holistic practitioner, and an expert in natural birth, Abby helps you tune in to your own body and your baby, because you know best. Your plan protects your rights and honors your instincts and the natural process. It also prepares you for the hard turns that no natural birth plan covers, such as inductions, interventions, cesareans, NICU stays, and pressure to consent on the spot, so you know your options and your next steps.
She also trained in a different model of advocacy, learning directly from the physicians who created the “I Did Not Consent” forms. That means your plan is built on informed consent and informed refusal, written in language that care teams recognize and respect.
An extensive network of physician allies who support families’ right to choose.
A deep understanding of jurisdictions and procedural steps, so you know what the hospital can and can’t do, and what to do next if your wishes aren’t being honored.
Years of real-world experience helping families prepare for, and come through, hospital births on their own terms.
