The Community Birth Skills Workshop is an immersive, hands-on program dedicated to preserving and sharing traditional midwifery skills for home birth and community settings.
Led by experienced midwives & community members, this workshop offers practical training in the essential skills needed to support physiological birth, informed consent, and family-centered homebirth experiences.
Whether you are a student midwife seeking valuable clinical exposure, an aspiring traditional midwife, a birth companion, or a family preparing for a natural home birth, this workshop builds real confidence and competence through apprenticeship-style learning in a supportive small-group environment.
Rooted in American traditional midwifery heritage, the program emphasizes safety, normal birth physiology, community self-reliance, and respect for cultural and faith-based birth traditions.
